Gooty Sapphires are an arboreal species that will often make a tubular web along the wall of the terrarium.
Becoming increasingly rare in the wild, this stunning species is now being bred in captivity in ever larger numbers by hobbyists. With a leg span of 15 to 20cm and a lifespan of 12 years for a female and 3 for a male, it makes an impressive display animal.
