Animal Boarding Terms and Conditions

Boarding Requirements

1. Evolution Reptiles offers boarding services exclusively for selected reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. We do not accept any other types of animals for boarding.
2. All animals must be in good health and free from contagious diseases or parasites upon arrival at our facility. 

Reservation and Payment

1. Boarding reservations must be made in advance. We do not accept walk in bookings. 
2. A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the boarding spot.
3. Full payment will be taken at the time of drop-off.
4. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit cards or debit cards.

Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellations made at least 7 days  before the scheduled drop-off date will receive a credit for the deposit amount to be used for future boarding services or as a store credit. 
2. Cancellations made less than 7 days  before the scheduled drop-off date will be subject to a late cancellation fee of £50 or the cost of the booking whichever is the lower amount. Any balance remaining will be available to use as a store credit or towards a future booking 
3. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled drop-off date will forfeit the entire deposit.

Health 

Evolution Reptiles reserves the right to refuse boarding to any animal that appears to be in poor health or may pose a risk to other animals at our facility.

Personal Belongings

1. Any personal belongings brought for the animals must be clearly labelled with the owner’s name.
2. Evolution Reptiles are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left with the animals.

Feeding and Care

Evolution Reptiles will provide regular feeding and care as instructed by the owner. Special dietary requirements must be communicated beforehand.

Medical Emergencies

In case of a medical emergency, Evolution Reptiles will make reasonable attempts to contact the owner. If unsuccessful, we reserve the right to seek immediate veterinary care at the owner’s expense, plus travel time and expenses.

Pick up and Drop Off

Please see our collection and drop off times below. 

Drop Off Times 

• Monday – Closed
• Tuesday to Friday – 10am and 5pm
• Saturday – 9am and 5pm
• Sunday  – 11am and 2.30pm

Collection Times 

• Monday – Closed 
• Tuesday to Friday  – Between 10am and 3pm
• Saturday – Between 9am and 3pm
• Sunday  – Between 11am and 3pm

A late collection fee of £25 plus the daily rate per day is payable upon a late collection.  

 If an animal is not picked up within 14 days of the agreed pick-up date and no communication has been received from the owner, Evolution Reptiles reserves the right to rehome the animal.

 Liability

1. Evolution Reptiles will take all reasonable care to ensure the health and safety of the boarded animals. However, we will not be held responsible for any illness, injury, or loss of life during the boarding period.
2. Owners are required to sign a liability waiver before boarding their animals with Evolution Reptiles.
