We are happy to accept returned items providing they are unused, in a saleable condition and in the original packaging up to 28 days after the purchase date.
When you buy online or by phone, you have additional rights as a consumer under the Distance Selling Regulations. This means if you as the purchaser notify us in writing of your wish to return an item within 7 working days of receiving it, we’ll refund you for both the purchase price and the delivery charge. The item must be returned unused and in a saleable condition, and the purchaser is responsible for the return delivery costs.
If you wish to return an item please contact us by email first for details. We will only be able to accept returns if you have notified us beforehand and completed a returns form.
We can only credit your account for items once they have been safely returned to us.

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item please contact via email (info@evolutionreptiles) us as soon as possible with photographs and details of the fault, to arrange replacement and return of the item. The return delivery costs will be refunded by us (to an amount deemed as reasonable) and a replacement product delivered free of charge. We regret that we cannot refund/replace faulty items if you do not notify us within 7 days of receipt.
Product failure after use
Products that fail prematurely usually need to be returned direct to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. If in doubt please contact us for more information.
Livefood and frozen foods
We are unable to accept returns of livefoods or frozen foods. If you are dissatisfied with an order please contact us directly via email (info@evolutionreptiles) with photographs and a description of the issue. Please note we cannot be held responsible for frozen food deliveries that are delivered defrosted due to delay caused by the delivery address being incomplete/incorrect. Frozen food is guaranteed to arrive frozen (at time of delivery). If you receive your order defrosted please email email@example.com with photographs.
Out of Stock Items
If an item is out of stock we will endeavour to contact you to offer an alternative. Livefoods may be substituted with the nearest size of the same species and cricket may be replaced with an alternative colour of cricket.
Animal sales policy
To help ensure that all of our animals have a chance to thrive in their new home we have steps to follow.
The housing must be of appropriate for the species and set up with heating and lighting ready to go.
Our Habitat Form must be complete before you visit. This allows us to assess the environment and to advise of any adjustments that maybe needed before the animal goes into it’s new home.
The person who is responsible for the care must be present at time of collection.
Plan for success!
Deposits on animals will only be taken when you purchase one of our vivarium set ups.
If you already have a vivarium a deposit will only be taken after a our Habitat Form has been completed and the vivarium deemed to be suitable for the species.
Animals can only be reserved for 7 day.
All deposits are non-refundable but are transferable.
