Delivery & Returns

Standard Delivery

The standard delivery method is Royal Mail First Class Post, please allow 2-5 days for delivery. All orders weighing 1500g or more will be delivered by a courier service and will require a signature.

Priority Delivery

Priority delivery uses a Next Working Day Before Noon Courier Service and will require a signature. Deliveries will not be made on Saturdays.

Glass Terrariums and frozen foods can only be sent via the priority service.

Orders placed by 12 noon Monday to Thursday will be processed that day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the following day or if placed after 12 noon Thursday, they will be dispatched on the following Monday (except bank holidays, orders will be despatched on the next working day).

Please ensure that someone is available to receive your order. If you are not available to receive your order, the courier will leave a card. They will usually make further attempts to deliver but if these fail the goods will be returned to us, in this case you will be refunded for the product (frozen items excluded) but not the delivery costs. If your order qualified for free delivery we will refund the cost of the items minus £9.99 to cover the cost of the failed delivery.

The delivery charges are calculated by approximate weight of the items ordered.

The delivery cost will be calculated and displayed in your basket before checkout, it will be updated with each additional product added to your basket.

The delivery charges quoted are for mainland UK. For delivery to other areas of the UK, including Northern Ireland, please contact us for prices.

Next Day Courier services are not available to some of the islands, Such as the Isle of Man.

Returns Policy – Online Sales

We are happy to accept returned items providing they are unused, in a saleable condition and in the original packaging up to 28 days after the purchase date.

When you buy online or by phone, you have additional rights as a consumer under the Distance Selling Regulations. This means if you as the purchaser notify us in writing of your wish to return an item within 7 working days of receiving it, we’ll refund you for both the purchase price and the delivery charge. The item must be returned unused and in a saleable condition, and the purchaser is responsible for the return delivery costs.
If you wish to return an item please contact us by email first for details. We will only be able to accept returns if you have notified us beforehand and completed a returns form.
We can only credit your account for items once they have been safely returned to us.
