Morio worms are sometimes known as superworms. They are a large species of mealworm growing to around 60mm long. They are a very popular food for insectivorous species of reptiles (particularly bearded dragons!), amphibians, invertebrates, birds and mammals. Morios have a tough exoskeleton so it is important that they are well fed so that it makes them more nutritious. All life stages of morio worms can be used as a food.
