Button Fern (Large) – (Pellaea rotundifolia)

Button fern is a compact, evergreen fern forming a nearly flat rosette of fronds to 25cm long composed of rounded, deep green leaflets. Originally from New Zealand.

Surprisingly tough as a terrarium plant, it appreciates high humidity and a rich, moist soil. Mix some sphagnum moss around the roots to increase the acidity of the soil. Prefers bright, diffused light.
