It’s hard to believe we’ve been part of the Kidlington community for ten years.
Back in May 2015, we made the exciting move from our little Oxford shop—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Since then, we’ve met hundreds of wonderful people (and just as many wonderful animals) and watched our business grow in ways we never imagined.
We’re always working to improve. In-store, we regularly review how we do things, refining our processes to make every visit smoother, friendlier, and more helpful. Online, our website continues to grow, welcoming new visitors and sharing reliable care information for all the amazing species we work with.

Our boarding facility gets busier every year, giving us the joy of meeting more of your animals, learning their personalities, and watching them develop over time.
Reptile Breeding
Breeding has also been a big part of our journey. Over the years, we’ve hatched countless animals, and this year we’re focusing on leopard geckos, mourning geckos, bearded dragons, and a few species of stick insects. Seeing that tiny head poke through an eggshell never stops being magical.
Of course, the last decade hasn’t been without challenges.
In 2018, a car crashed into the front of our shop—an unforgettable moment. Then came the Coronavirus pandemic, which affected everyone. And in 2024, a burst water pipe in the flat above caused a major flood throughout the shop.
But through every setback, we’ve kept going. We fix what needs fixing, adapt where we must, and carry on.
This year, our focus remains on serving our customers—both online and in-store—making sure we have the products and species you’re looking for. We’ll also be sharing plenty of updates and photos on Facebook and Instagram, so stay connected and be part of the journey.
