Desert Blond Tarantulas are a nice docile species, which makes them a great species for the first time keeper. They thrive in an appropriately sized terrarium and can grow to a leg span of 15cm. They are long lived; 25 to 30 years is possible for females, although males will rarely go beyond 10.
