Not all terrarium conditions allow live plants to grow or thrive. Some areas are too hot or too dry for live plants whereas others might require different light requirements, or simply can be eaten by the reptiles. Again, pictures often don't do these justice - they really do look quite good - obviously never going to look entirely authentic... but as close as you'll get without having to water them!

I use a selection of these in with both my chameleons (which they happily climb all over), and with my corn snakes (purely for decoration - although they can climb up them too).

They have a little plastic hook on the top, which allows you to hook them on a hook or something similar.
