Silent Crickets - Tubs
SILENT CRICKETS -Gryllus assimilis
Silent crickets are best kept between the temperatures 23 and 29°C. When the crickets arrive, empty out entire contents into larger well ventilated container such as a Lucky Reptile Kricket Keeper, Lucky Reptile Herp Haven or small aquarium. Place egg cartons around the walls of the container use one of the high calcium prepared insect foods such as Bug Grub orMedivet Cricket Diet Plus on the base. Also add a couple of pieces of carrot or potato; this will supply the crickets with moisture and vitamins found in fresh vegetables.
The smaller size crickets will require additional water either in a small container (coffee jar lid) with cotton wool to prevent drowning, (although you may find that this will encourage mites) or some Lucky Reptile Aqua Gel will give excellent results
It is important to keep your crickets clean and dry

the best i could find!!

they are about 60p cheaper than at the reptile shops and last twice as long. they are very lively each time i get them (i get them fortnightly) and my beardie much prefers them to other ones i've brought in the past. they last along time as well i havent had any die before my beardie has had chance to eat them :) will always get these crickets from evolution reptiles

These crickets weren't necessarily the cheapest I could find, but I have never had any dead crickets arrive. Unlike other retailers these genuinely are silent.

I have use many suppliers for live foods but find Evolution to be the best for both quality and service. The crickets are good value, always very healthy plus being able to use PayPal is very helpful.
As a bonus, the containers they arrive in are great for recycling,I keep my young Tarantulas in them!

I now only buy my live food from Evolution Reptiles as they always arrive fresh and health also I save about 60p to 80p per tub. My Beardie love them and judging by their full bellies they are good for them 10/10
